Texmex, that comes to mind.

What are those?

1. Taco

The picture below doesn’t seem to represent the best taco around though. It was decent.

Taco is basically meat, fish, or chicken seasoned with a lot of Mexican spices and then grilled, sauted or fried. It taste much like Indonesian food, so I really like it.

2. Quesadilla

Quesadilla looks like a thin pizza. It is made of wheat flour or  corn flour baked into tortilla (cmiiw). I am not a big fan of it. I ate it once but I don’t have any decent pics of it.

3. Burrito

Burrito is happiness in a roll. lolol. A burrito is a type of Mexican and Tex-Mex food, consisting of a wheat flour tortilla wrapped or folded into a cylindrical shape to completely enclose the filling (from wiki, so that maybe what it is).

Where you can get it?

Chipotle lol, another friend of mine would argue that Tacobell is awesome. I am quite chill with Chipotle.

My Mexican friend told me that Micocina is good, another friend who is a Texmex fan also told me its good. I think its great.

Other than that, I think the tasty food from Texas would be barbecue. In Dallas, I rarely eat out (because I’m a helluva cheapo student) but once I went to Pecan Lodge in Dallas Art District, it was soooooooo goooood. Totally recommended. You need to come very early in the morning to get lunch though, around 10 AM or you risk to wait in a long queue. Its very worth the wait.
